Last week, Macy’s Metro Center (1201 G Street NW) hosted their highly anticipated Five Essentials Fall Fashion Show. Nearly 200 fashion-enthused guests stepped out in style to the downtown department store to see this season’s biggest trends including color blocking, layering, military style, embellishments and baroque.
Fashion expert Amy E. Goodman served as the host as local celebrities served as the runway models. Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Congress President Christina Brooks Cooper, bloggers Angel Elliott, and Ana Jacobs, WUSA9 Executive Producer Anetra Gaines, Luke’s Wings co-founder Fletcher Gill, WUSA9 reporter Ko Im, District Fete President Andrew Roby, and Gilt Groupe Senior Curator Marissa Schneider walked the catwalk.
Guests enjoyed bites and sips by Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, complimentary mini-makeovers and manicures. Customers also received a Macy’s swag bag including a signed copy of Amy E. Goodman book “Wear This, Toss That.”
